The Exclusive Edition of Ape Escape is Now Available for Pre-Order

That’s right folks.  I have teamed up with Barnes & Noble yet again to create an exclusive edition of one of my novels!

This one has a special cover, an annotated map of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda (home to the mountain gorillas), Teddy Fitzroy’s safari checklist and plenty of bonus animal facts. And, as usual, it costs the exact same amount of money as the regular book.

  1. Ape escape was absolutely amazing, and I can not wait for the next SS books. I am especially excited for the one in China, thanks for your time???

The decision of which series should be turned into GNs is made by my publisher, who has to handle the production of those books. I think the decision to do MBA first was because there are only three books in it, so it could be done and finished quickly, as opposed to an ongoing series.

  3. hi mr gibbs! first off, i love your work! my best friend has been DYING to get me to read your funjungle series and so far I like it a lot! as a fellow animal enthusiast i’m really enjoying it. i’m only a little bit through belly up, but i can’t want to read more from this series 🙂

also, have you considered ever mentioning rock hyraxes in any of your funjungle books? they’re the closest living relatives to elephants and manatees— i think they’re super cool, chaotic, and, most importantly, cute animals! of course, this is just something silly i’d like to mention, but i’m a big rock hyrax fan so i had to!

    thanks so much!

I love rock hyraxes. It’s possible I could mention them some day.

  5. I know you have mentioned this in other books, but still do you think that Teddy will solve any more big cases at Funjungle in upcoming books? I think that the “Funjungle Series” is not the series without the Funjungle part, even though he has still been solving small cases on the side.

I can’t say what will happen in future books — but I can say that I moved the series away from FunJungle because I felt that it was going to become repetitive if Teddy only solved cases there. Yes, the series is called FunJungle, but that shouldn’t;t behold me to setting the stories there. That would be far too limiting.
