Spy Ski School

The coolest Spy School adventure yet.

The CIA has finally decided to activate Ben Ripley for real.

The Mission: Become friends with Jessica Shang, the daughter of a suspected Chinese crime boss, and find out all of her father’s secrets. Jessica wants to go to ski school in the Rocky Mountains, so a select few spy school students are going skiing too—under cover, of course.

Ben might not be able to handle a weapon (or a pair of skis), but he’s poised for success on this one. That is, until his best friend from home drops in on the trip and jeopardizes the entire mission…

  1. I just finished reading this entire book the night I got it and I am love it. I’m dead serious that this book is amazing. But that’s what we all expected, amirite?

  2. My daughter is obsessed with the Spy School series. She has dyslexia and had never loved reading. We tried your books and she’s hooked! She had read them all and asked Santa for the series for Xmas so she can reread them all. She loves how detailed your writing is and it has inspired her to start writing as well (something else she never enjoyed due to her language based learning difficulties). I love your use of vocabulary! Every night there is at least 1 new word that we learn. I’ve read a lot of kids chapter books and your use of new vocabulary is amazing (there’s words I don’t even know)!
My daughter loves Erica and dressed as her for Halloween. She wants you to write a book for
    Erika’s perspective!

I am so pleased to hear that your daughter has found a love of reading through my books. Thanks so much for sharing this story.

  4. you made a statement saying Golden finger is the best james bond movie. i came to say skyfall is better

I have NEVER said that Goldfinger was the best James Bond movie. I might have said that it is generally regarded as the best James Bond movie by critics, but I personally do not believe that.

  6. I love this book so so much. It is really funny. I know you probably can’t answer this but will there be a movie?

  7. Erica+Ben4Ever –

I would love for there to be a movie of any of my books, but at the moment, that is not happening.

  8. I love this series and I’m waiting to transtlate the “project X” and ” goes north ” to persian cause I’m Iranian. (:

  9. The first time I read the series I was fascinated by how Ben Ripley becomes a better student at spy school yet it’s surprising that he’s never been captured. I see why spider wants him so badly. They could even Erica Hale for heavens sakes!!!
So please make it so that he get captured in your new book. Please?

Ben has been captured plenty of times. He just tends to escape quickly (due to his own actions or the help of his friends).

The issue is, I don’t think him being captured for a long time would make for a very dynamic story. I mean, he’d be in a jail cell (or something like that) for much of the book.

I’m not saying that someone couldn’t make that interesting, but I’m probably not going to do it.

Also, FYI, my new book comes out in October and has been written already, so it’s pretty late to ask for changes.
