“Spy School pulls together the best of middle grade writing—action, adventure, awkward romance, plot twists and turns, and of course, unrelenting humor. Gibbs does an excellent job of never quite letting you figure out what is going to happen next, and keeping you on your toes. Ben is a perfect bumbling hero… Spy School will keep young readers engrossed from cover to cover.” — Bookpage

“Twists and turns in the plot keep readers guessing until the very end. The story, over-the-top funny, combines Alex Rider’s espionage skills with a huge dose of the sarcasm of Artemis Fowl.” – School Library Journal

“Stuart Gibbs has set up a fast-paced and humorous action story… a book as entertaining as an animated film. Spy School begins with immediate action and carries the pace through to the end. Gibbs combines plot twists, action, and humor so the story never gets boring.“ — Christian Library Journal
