Here are the books that are coming in 2026

Hi all!  2026 is going to be a big year!

First up, on March 24, 2026 there’s the newest book in the FunJungle series, Ape Escape.

At the same time, he’s long-distance consulting with Summer to help solve another mystery back at FunJungle. Between facing down lions on the Serengeti and chasing poachers through the bazaars of Zanzibar, will Teddy be able to find the baby gorilla before it’s too late?

I’m pleased to announce that, once again, there will be an exclusive edition of this one available from Barnes & Noble, featuring an exclusive jacket, an annotated map of—plus bonus content that features Teddy’s safari checklist, fun animal facts and more!

On November 10… I will release my first non-fiction book!

Join Ben as he shares the true stories behind World War II’s courageous spies, their inventive commanders, and the incredible things they did, like commando raids, code-breaking, double-crosses, disinformation, and inventing shark repellant and exploding pancake batter (really). There are amazing stories about famous spies like Julia Child, John Ford, and Sterling Hayden, plus countless others who risked their lives and took great risks to keep the world safe from evil.

That’s it! Six books released within one year.  I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do this again. But I worked really hard on each one of these… So I hope you enjoy them all!

Thanks for your kind thoughts, although I have no plans for a crossover at this time.

  3. Cora Watson –

I would love for there to be GNs of all of my books. But that decision is up to my publisher.

  4. Hello, I like your books. How about making the Moon Base Alpha series into a movie?
I’m enjoying the series so much.
(Please understand if the English wrong.

  5. Are you going to write another book in the last musketeers series or has that idea passed?

  6. Da in Ahn –

Sadly it is not my choice what books become movies. That is up to the movie studios. I have been trying to get MBA made into a movie for over a decade.

  7. Yeonhee

I have a rather old blog post that explains why that series ended.

  8. I reallyy think the 15 spy school book could be called Spy Surf school, where Ben and Erica get put on mission wolfclaw where they go to the Caribbean islands and have to stop SMASH from another evil mission.

  9. also i think that spy surf school since its in carribeain ben should have a natural talent for surfing and since its focused on a beach it should get kind of romantic and heated between ben and erica not to much just some to spice it up a little because the lasts couple books of the series are kind of making ben and erica seem more like friends not in a relationship i also think and book spy school undercover where ben fakes his death so his parents house dosent blow up and then erica dosent know so she gets emtionak p.s i love your books

  10. Parker Bussa

While I appreciate your enthusiasm, I really can’t accept ideas from readers.

  11. Parker Bussa =

Also, since I write middle grade, I can’t have Ben and Erica’s relationship get heated.

  12. dear Mr gibbs
I meant like emotional so sorry if you miss understood when I said heated siceraly

    sincerely Parker Bussa

  13. a kid –

There are LOTS of places on earth to set books and sadly, I can’t use them all. I had originally thought that part of Spy School Goes east would take place in Japan, but it didn’t work out. If a story ends up working in Japan, I will certainly set a book there.

  14. Muneef Rehan –

I do not know how many books will be in any of my series.

  15. ashwin –

I won’t be posting about the next FJ book for at least a year. Sorry. I don’t like to share information about what a book is about while I am writing the book.

  16. Please make a friend Jungle movie please please please and make the fun jungle Book about penguins you are my favorite author in the entire world!????

  17. Hayden Harris –

If it was up to me, I would have made a FunJungle movie ten years ago. But Hollywood has to decide to do it and so, sadly, the decision is not mine.

Penguins play a big part in Lion Down, so there probably won’t be a penguin mystery. Sorry.

  18. Yeonhee –

I am not completely sure what you are asking. But I have adapter the first Spy School book as a movie. It did not get made though.

  19. Can u make a spy school and funjungle crossover series with tina teddy erica summer and ben meet

  20. Nabyom –

Sorry, but I am not planning a crossover between any of my series.
