Here are the books that are coming in 2026

Hi all!  2026 is going to be a big year!

At the same time, he’s long-distance consulting with Summer to help solve another mystery back at FunJungle. Between facing down lions on the Serengeti and chasing poachers through the bazaars of Zanzibar, will Teddy be able to find the baby gorilla before it’s too late?

I’m pleased to announce that, once again, there will be an exclusive edition of this one available from Barnes & Noble, featuring an exclusive jacket, an annotated map of—plus bonus content that features Teddy’s safari checklist, fun animal facts and more!

On November 10… I will release my first non-fiction book!

Join Ben as he shares the true stories behind World War II’s courageous spies, their inventive commanders, and the incredible things they did, like commando raids, code-breaking, double-crosses, disinformation, and inventing shark repellant and exploding pancake batter (really). There are amazing stories about famous spies like Julia Child, John Ford, and Sterling Hayden, plus countless others who risked their lives and took great risks to keep the world safe from evil.

That’s it! Six books released within one year.  I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do this again. But I worked really hard on each one of these… So I hope you enjoy them all!

  1. Dear Mr. Gibbs-
I would really love to see a Spy School collab —possibly along with some authors with similar book series? No suggestion for the theme, but would really love to see all the main characters somehow be incorporated into this—or just among your other series. I just really think it would be cool seeing Ben and Teddy being beat pals, or Erica and Charlie really relating to each other. Even if it is just for a book or two. I know it’s an undescribably far-fetched, I just really would like to see this incorporated.
    Thanks for your time. 😀

It’s hard enough to figure out how to do a crossover between my own series (which is why I haven’t done it) — but doing a crossover with another author and their book series? That’s a creative nightmare. I’m not saying no to ever doing a crossover of my own books, but at this time, I have no plans for one.

    Hi Mr. Gibbs!!!
I was so excited to learn about your page and even more excited that I could talk to you through comments! I have read the whole Spy School series 100000 times and you probably know that I loved it! I also read the Moon Base Alpha series many times.

I was wondering what your next book will be called in the Spy School series. I think that it will probably be about Ben and his amazing team rescuing the adults because Orion sent them after a crook in China.

I would love to write another CT book, but I have a lot of other things going on so I might not have the time.

Do you mean besides today’s release of Ape Escape? Yes, I am planning on writing at least one more book in the series.

  9. Hi! Just saying that I am quite impressed by your writing skills and ability to write extremely fantastamazical books in such a short amount of time. I re-read the SS series, have read every single CT book, and am sorta in the middle of reading MBA/FJ. Love these books!!

P.S. I read a comment of you saying that you like “The Westing Game”? Me too! Have you ever read “When You Reach Me” by Rebecca Stead?
P.S.S My name on this website is not a joke, I’m pretty sure that’s why I love to read so much!

Yes, I love The Westing Game. And When You Reach Me is really really good as well!

  11. Hi! I am such a big fan of your books and literally am obsessed with your Spy School series. I am sooooooo excited whenever there is a new book coming out, I literally can’t wait to read it. I love your books because the plot is just so well thought out, and when I’m reading the story just comes to life in my head. I would love to write a book someday, and your books offer so much inspiration. I have been reading the Spy School Series since second grade and am still obsessed with it today. I really hope you continue to write more books. The Spy School Series is what made me fall in love with reading. Also, do you have any tips on starting to write a book? I am so excited to read all your books.

First of all, thanks for all of your kind words about my books.

I have a page of writing advice on this website and that has a link to a video series that I did that is full of writing advice as well.

  13. Hi Mr.Gibbs I want to start of by saying that all of your SS books are amazing and I have read them all at least 4 times. I want to ask about if you had any thoughts on continuing the Moon Base Alpha series. And I also want to ask if you have a name for the book after Spy School Goes East-

  14. Darsh –

I have an older post explaining why I ended the MBA series and my thoughts have not changed since posting that.

I do not come up with the titles until I finish writing the books, so do not expect a title to be announced for about another year.
