I’m sorry if you are busy, but I noticed a problem in the audiobook for the book “The Staff of Serapis”.
When you go to the first page, there is a sentence saying “
Click the play button below to start the audio” and there is a play button below it, but when I click on the play button, the page would automatically flip away without starting the audio.
Do you know how to fix this problem?
(P.S. the audiobook says “read by author”. Does that mean you read the audiobook?

I do not know how to fix Rick’s audiobook problems. I am guessing that Rick does not know, either.
If an audiobook says read by the author then that means it is read by the author.

I am not sure which book you are referring to, but I think it’s Belly Up and you have to remember that I wrote that book in 2008, so I can’t recall every single detail about it any more. I presume that I had a very good reason that wouldn;t work though. Perhaps that Teddy doesn’t know JJ well and Marge is an authority figure?

I have been a fan of the Spy School series for a long time. Since I love collecting Funko Pops, I was wondering if it might be possible to see Funko Pops of Spy School characters in the future? I would really love it!

I am guessing that, unless Spy School becomes a huge hit movie or TV show, there will be no Funko Pops of the characters. I don’t think they ever do literary characters, in part because everyone has a different idea of what they look like, so how could a Funko Pop version of Ben Ripley be recognizable to everyone?

Hi –
First of all, what every person considers a cuss word is different. Some people, it turns out, have a big problem with certain synonyms for ‘buttocks’ even though many other people do not.
That said, if I used certain words, then authors must be allowed to do that. There’s no law against it.

I do not pick the person who records the audiobooks. My publisher does that. But I am allowed to have approval for that person — sometimes.

I am in love with the Spy School series and I am so glad there is another, even though the wait list on libby is going to be lick 2 months long. I am also so glad that Ben and Erica got together and hope they go on another date that we get more info on. do they go on a date? please say yes.

I am not sure what circumstance speaking Latin would be as valuable on a mission as speaking a modern language would be — unless they go undercover at Vatican City.
