Spy Ski School

The coolest Spy School adventure yet.

The CIA has finally decided to activate Ben Ripley for real.

The Mission: Become friends with Jessica Shang, the daughter of a suspected Chinese crime boss, and find out all of her father’s secrets. Jessica wants to go to ski school in the Rocky Mountains, so a select few spy school students are going skiing too—under cover, of course.

Ben might not be able to handle a weapon (or a pair of skis), but he’s poised for success on this one. That is, until his best friend from home drops in on the trip and jeopardizes the entire mission…

  1. Ethan the spy –

If there was a spy school for kids, it would be top secret and so, I couldn’t really tell you if it existed or not.

  2. Stuart Gibbs,
In spy ski school on the 36th page in the 8th row mike states, “Are they working on anything with radioactive spiders? So that you’ll be able to shoot webs out of your wrists like Spider-Man?”. Even though in the original Spider-Man comics Spider-Man doesn’t shoot webs out of his wrists but makes a contraption of his own design that makes it so he can shoot webs and swing across the city.

  3. Bugs Bunny –

I am well aware of how the Spider-Man contraption works. But it was funnier to have Mike state things this way.

(And, if we’re going to get really technical, spiders shoot web out of glands near their rear ends, not their wrists, so Spider-Man ios totally wrong anatomically in the first place.)

I would consider Star Trek or Star Wars nerdy. Also, what other authors do you like?

  5. Hi Mr. Gibbs!
I am a huge fan of your books! I just wanted you to know that I have the kindle version of spy school, and it shows me whats underneath the blackout sentences. I am not going to say, because if you blacked them out they are confidential. I am so excited for the next book!!

  6. Spy School Lover –

Yes, I have heard that the kindle does that. Just so you know, the words were never supposed to be printed at all. They were only words that I stuck into a Word document so that I could know how long the blacked-out spaces would be. I never imagined that the publisher would actually type them and then black them out too. So whatever is there is not necessarily correct.

  7. Oliver –

I believe that the series works because it is from Ben’s POV, and that Erica wouldn’t be nearly as funny from her own POV.

  8. teddy –

I think that setting a MBA book on earth would really take away everything that was interesting about the book series in the first place.

  9. Hi, Mr. Gibbs! I just started reading the Spy School series, and I really love it so far! I’m currently on Spy School: British Invasion.

I just had one question, and it’s fine if you don’t answer: What does Ben look like? The books are from his point of view, and you never describe him externally. I know you must get this question a lot. I’ve searched it up, and the Internet says that Ben is likely to have brown hair and brown eyes, but I picture him differently.

Do you not describe Ben on purpose?

  10. shut up and watch…

Honestly, does it really matter that much? I can’t explain why some pages have comments andothers don’t. I’m an author, not a web designer. I do my best. It would really be wonderful if I could post a comment and not have readers nitpick it to death.

  11. shut up…

I don’t think anyone really has to know what kind of car I drive. There are many things that I would prefer to keep private.

  12. Also I understand why you stopped the MBA series at it was hard toome up with plots. spaced out was really cool in Nina was missing and in a place nobody could have guessed. and when they though she was murdered everybody was a suspect. same with Waste of space, and half the moon base for Space case. They are very great books and it’s sad it ended but I understand why

  13. I love your spy school book series and I think it would be cool if you make a book of Erica’s point of view or at least gave us more of an idea of what her life is like with her dad and granddad.

  14. Hi Mr. Gibbs! I just started the series and it is my fave! Just saying that you are my all time favorite author and evil spy school is my favorite.

  15. Alexander Hale-

Thanks! 🙂 I have officially commented on every post! 🙂
    YAY! 🙂

  16. Mr. Gibbs,

Could you make a main chat so that wherever you comment your comment shows up there. I’m having a hard time keeping up with all the comments.

  17. Jawa –

No, I can’t make a main chat for everyone to comment. Chances are, people wouldn’t use it anyhow.

The fact is, the comment sections here were primarily designed for people to ask me questions and for me to respond, not for readers to have long conversations.

  18. Hi!
Love your books! Can you make a spy school Series about the bad guys?
    Thanks your biggest fan
