This edition will feature an exclusive jacket with a secret map on the reverse side, along with several pages of hilarious content created solely for this book: never-before-seen letters from Ben to his parents, Erica to her sister, Zoe to her true love… and plenty more.

  1. Hi Mr. Gibbs,

Why did Zoe not come out, and why was there absolutely no mention by the other characters of Zoe’s homosexual crush? I find that, as a teenager, to be quite unrealistic, even amongst the most accepting of friends.

The way that Zoe revealed her crush and the way her friends were immediately accepting of it was based on how my own children and their friends respond to this exact same scenario. If you find it to be unrealistic, that is because people are different and handle things in different ways.

  3. Hello Mr. Gibbs,

How are you? I really love your Spy School series! Right now, I am on Project X! I can’t wait to finish it! I saw that there is going to be a 12th Spy School! I can’t wait to read it! I am writing a novel myself, and I’m really grateful for your writing tips! I admire your writing so much! Spy School might be the best series I’ve ever read, and that’s saying something!

  4. Hello Mr. Gibbs,

It’s Julia S. again. May I ask, what inspired you to write novels? When you were a kid, what was your favorite novel? 🙂

  5. Julia S –

I have simply just always loved to write. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t want to share my stories with other people.

I have many favorite novels from my youth, but i always like to mention The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin.
