Hey readers!  Perhaps you recall my post from earlier this year, when I announced that due to the extra time I had to write (and not travel) thanks to COVID-19, I was able to get FunJungle 7 out earlier than expected.  In fact, it will be out next May!

Well, it is my great pleasure to reveal the title — and yet another great cover by Lucy Cummins:

In the seventh novel in New York Times bestselling Stuart Gibbs’s FunJungle series, Teddy Fitzroy returns as FunJungle’s resident sleuth to solve the disappearances of endangered bison and an irreplaceable necklace.

Teddy Fitzroy, his family, and some other FunJungle employees have been invited to visit a bison ranch just outside Yellowstone National Park that FunJungle’s owner, J.J. McCracken, is considering purchasing. But as usual, trouble isn’t far behind.

The ranch’s endangered bison have been mysteriously disappearing. Then a massive local grizzly bear named Sasquatch breaks into the house, causing chaos. In the aftermath, Kandace McCracken discovers that her exceptionally expensive sapphire necklace has vanished.

Was it stolen? Or did Sasquatch eat it? (And if so, can it be recovered?) And what’s been happening to the bison?

With over a dozen suspects, it’s up to Teddy to detangle this hairy situation, before his family or friends—or any more expensive objects—become dinner.

    I just recently got a boxed set of your spy school books and I’m really exited to re read them all but while I was reading the first book I noticed something (and I apologize if this a question you can’t answer) but in page 32 when he was walking into his room for the first time it says, The walls were thin enough to hear through. But then when he is attacked by the assassin it says the assassin fires a bullet and guns are pretty loud. So I was wondering how the other classmate didn’t hear the gun?

    I don’t believe this would be classified but I could very well be wrong. You made your intentions for FunJungle relationships very clear and saying relationships will be focused on SS. But I was wondering if in the future or at all could you see Charlie Thorne developing a relationship?

  17. Can u make a book where Dash and Ethan prank the Barksdales by using a LEGO Millennium Falcon and making the Barksdales think it’s a UFO crash? That would be funny.

    I can’t really discus what will happen in future books but…

    What happens in real life when kids end up at different schools? Think about that and then you’ll have a good idea of what might happen.

    First of all, I love your books a lot, but I won’t say I’m your #1 fan, because that is said by several kids on this blog, and there’s only one #1 spot, but here’s my question.

    You have SS10 on the agenda for 2022, but FJ8 isn’t, does that mean your releasing 2 SS books before you release another FJ book, or your ending the series, or neither?

    (Also, I was Trina to give myself a cool nickname anagram, but the best I came up with was rabbitsguts, so I just used my real one.)

    My mom and I came up with a great idea for one of your novels.
    It would be really cool if Ben Ripley and his friends took a vacation at FunJungle.
    Then Ben would get a crush on Summer McCracken and Teddy Fitzroy would get a crush on Erica Hale.

    Maybe later “Teddy Goes to Washington” could be a book and Teddy gets an internship-type thing at Spy School.
