  1. You made my day!!! Thank you! And tnx for that little update on the book releases…you know the one that says about spy school #7. But let’s not get carried away… first Spy school goes south!!! Cant wait!

Ben will be traveling to another country. And the paperback of SSSS will come out first — because that book came out first in hardcover too. In fact, the paperback of SSSS will come out the same day that SSGS is released.

  3. Wait, will we see a sneak peek of SSGS in the back of waste of space, or in the back of the paperback of Panda-monium? Also, thank you for releasing us the title and cover!

  4. Also, why is Spy School #7 date closer than your usual dates? Since, your dates would be much farther ahead. May 7 is not that far way when October 2 comes and we get Spy School #6.

  5. This is probably the best cover design for a book that I have ever seen. It’s particularly eye catching because it has a combo of bright colors — blue, pink, and yellow.

Yes, I will add the cover, but that is rather time consuming and haven’t had the time to do it yet.

  7. YAY!!!!!!!!
The cover looks AWESOME!!! I really am looking forward to seeing more of Ben and his friends!

Also, will you be coming to the San Fransisco Bay Area anytime soon? I would love to meet you!

  8. Will there ever be a crossover of fun jungle and spy school eg JJ McCracken revived a death threat of spyder so Ben comes and investigates with teddy

  9. YAY!!! I can’t WAIT until SSGS!!!
I have read(and loved!!) every book in all of your series!!!
Can’t wait for SSGS and Waste of Space!!!

That must be an older version. I have only seen the one with the pineapple bathing suit. There are often different drafts of covers, so I’m guessing I have the correct one, but I’m not sure.

  11. I heard about this book earlier (See my post on the new cover post) and can’t wait to figure out more about it. Agent Gavin signing off.

P.S. On the other one I just put Gavin not Agent Gavin. I did this because it is secret agent style.

  12. Rocky –

I am probably not going to add sneaks on my website. There are always sneaks in the back of the paperbacks and usually every book sales site lets you read the first chapter.

  13. Since SS 7 is relatively close (only 1 year), have you begun drafts on it yet and if not when do you plan to do so?

  14. Ooh. A bit…flashy. That bird poop makes it look kinda ridiculous?
But woohoo! They’re gong to another country! That’s gonna be awesome. And beaches are gonna make more hilarious interactions with the characters. Can’t wait to see what country and what scheme you’ve cooked up.
(Gotta love those pineapple shorts though. Wonder who gets to wear them xD)

  15. I love your Spy School series SO much it is probably wait no not probably it is the best series I have ever read!

  16. Are you able to post what the characters in Spy School would actually look like or could you make Spy School a movie it would be very interesting! I would be psyched for that!

  17. A.M.-
In my opinion, the bird poop is important because it’s unique for a spy school cover for the agent on the cover to have a hat modification and it also makes the cover stand out more and be more eye catching which is pretty much the point for a cover in the first place.

  18. Agent G –

I describe the characters in Spy School. I would love for it to be a movie, but that’s not really my decision. It’s Hollywood’s.
