Here’s what you’ve been waiting for: The title — and cover — of Spy School #5!

Hey readers!

I have been getting a lot of questions about Spy School #5.  In particular: ‘Does it have a title besides Spy School #5?’

It does!  And while I could just type it here, it’s more fun to reveal it this way, with the incredible cover designed, as usual, by my incredible designer, Lucy Cummins:

Amazing, right?  And, as usual, what you’re seeing here doesn’t even do it justice.  The actual cover has this cool, shimmery effect for the sunglasses.  It’s fantastic!

Now, I know what your next question is going to be: ‘When does it come out?’

The answer to that is… October 10, 2017.

And now, I know what your third question is going to be: ‘What happens in this book?’

All right, I will tell you.  But with a caveat:

This is all I am going to tell you about the book.  I know this will be frustrating to you, and that you will have more questions.  But I am not going to answer those questions, no matter how nicely you ask.  Because the more you know, the less fun it is for you to read the book.

So here’s the plot, in a nutshell: Ben is sent undercover into the White House to investigate a plot against the president.  As usual, things don’t quite work out the way anyone expects, and chaos and mayhem ensue.

Everything else is classified.  For now.

  1. Agent Undercover –

It’s a belt with little compartments on it, and it goes around her waist.

  2. Hey Stu, I am a BIG fan of Spy School. Unfortunately, I have not read any of your other books. I tried to relish all the moments of the books, because I read all the books in less than a day. They are still great books even though I read all of the books in 3 days! I can’t wait for SSSS in October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Is Operation Muskrat or whatever the mentioned mission at the end of SSS is the mission that Ben is going on? Also, I think that the person (idk if persons) that will cross to S.P.Y.D.E.R. is going to be Warren, Chip, or Jawa. Maybe even Nefarious. I doubt it will be Zoe or Erica but us readers will see when the book comes out.

  3. Stu, another question oh and thanks for the other answer. So can you give me a quick description of Warren and Zoe? Thanks! I appreciate it! Can’t wait 4 Secret Service! *screams with excitement*

  4. And what is ben’s hair color? I know you’re busy. I’m sorry. I just need to know these answers.

  5. Stu, I am so excited about this spy school series… I read all of the books in just 4 days… I just would like to let you know that all of your fans want you to keep writing these spy school books throughout Ben’stime at spy school… And a question… Does Mike get recruited? I really would like to know this. Thank you for reading this if you have a chance!

  6. MBA won’t just be a trilogy like The Last Musketeer right?
Cause you’re main focus seems to be on SS and FJ.

  7. Agent Undercover –

Zoe is short with big round, expressive eyes. Warren is very bland looking. That’s about all I have. I don’t know what color hair Ben has. No matter how you draw these characters, you will be right.

  8. Eric –

I started MBA after I started those other series, which may be why it appears that I am more focused on them. I am not ready to say whether or not MBA will be a trilogy or not.

  9. Stu – I love your spy school books so much. I started reading book one and couldn’t rest until I had finished the whole series that has come out so far. I just have 2 questions for you: what inspired you to start writing books and what inspired you to start writing spy school?

  10. when you say “But when the president’s son is as helpful as a hamster”, do you mean Eric, Barron, or Donald Trump jr., or will their names/personalities be unspecified like when you’ve mentioned the president before?

  11. Sasha –

I always wanted to write, even when I was a kid. There has never been a point when I DIDN’T want to write books. Furthermore, I came up with the idea for Spy School when i was a kid as well. It just took a long time for me to figure out the right way to do it.

  12. Please Answer –

The President in the book is fictitious, as is his son. Just like in any movie or TV show where there is a president.

  13. -Stu
For a webseries I’m doing is this plot good??
Your a writer how would you rate it??

3 middle schoolers on their first day of 7th grade find out they have superpowers and they come from a long line of legends. They try to balance their hero life with school and find out that one of the most deadly villains in the world is a fellow student. With the fate of the world in a couple of kids hands what will they do?

  14. AJ –

That is a very confusingly worded question. Are you asking “Is Ben actually in the Secret Service?” If so, the answer is no. But if you’re asking, “Is Ben actually in the book ‘Spy School Secret Service'” then the answer is yes.

  15. I thought SPYDER was done. “SPYDER is out of the game”In what Cyrus Hale said in SS ski school, page20 .There headquarters blew up.Is it just one person who is going to do it to get SPYDER back on track.

  16. A.M-
That is quite possibly the most random thing I’ve seen, and it’s also true XD

  17. Quisitioner –

The book takes place in Washington DC. Spy School is in Washington DC. So Ben will live where he always does — in the dorm at spy school.

  18. Hey stu does Ben get held back a year because at the end of SS ski school in the classified not Cyrus have sent it read “as for agent *blank* the less said about his performance the better”
