Stuart Gibbs

A little while ago, I wrote to inform everyone that Simon & Schuster had bought a new book from me:  Spy School, which is not due to be out until 2012.  Well, now there’s some news that supercedes that news:

Harper Collins has offered me a three book deal.  A series.  I’m not at liberty to divulge much about it yet, except that the first book is due to come out next April (or thereabouts).  Which, as those of you with access to a calendar have figured out, isn’t that far away.  I’m very excited about this project, but I don’t have much time to write book one, so my blog posts might get a little fewer and farther between for a bit because I’m supposed to be writing.

I’ll dole out more details when I can.  Though I can say this.  This book won’t be a mystery per se.  (Though there will be a bit of a mystery at the heart of it.)  It’ll be more of an adventure novel.  Still targeted — officially — at Young Adults.  But hopefully enjoyable to readers of all ages.
